Microwaves. You use them every day and you don't even know it.
The second smallest typeof wave on the electromagnetic spectrum is the microwave. The sizes of microwaves range from 1 milimeter to about a foot long. They are produced by a motor that spins as a result of perpendicular weaving of electrical and magnetic waves to produce heat. The primary functions of a microwave is to heat things up and in cell phones.
A cell phone does not use a magnetron to produce microwaves but it does use microwaves. Instead of a magnetron a cell phone uses a transmitter chip. The phones uses microwaves to send messages, pictures and receive them.
One of the main uses of a microwave is in a microwave. The vibrating of the microwaves cause the water and fat in matter to move rapidly thus causing the food or whatever item in the microwave to heat up.
There are some dangerous factors that go into the microwaves. Prolonged exposure to microwaves has been known to cause tumors and blurred or foggy vision otherwise known as cataracts.
One theory states that microwave radiation was one of the results of the Big Bang. This video shows that there is research going into the theory.
